Gentle reminder for you

This pandemic brought our life upside down. We experience struggles in our everyday life to where we feel drained. Life is very challenging, as we enter young adulthood we experience various drastic changes that made us more responsible. Here are some important things we need to do once in a while that will help us breathe and take a step back.
Try to be active. Engage in physical activities like exercise, meditation, and yoga. This will help your body to loosen up, a way to unwind and unleash all that stress. Just giving enough time for physical activity will give our body a positive change. We can still stay active even indoors. During this time, I tried to become active by allotting 20-30 minutes of just casual exercise or even dancing to some fun music.
Give yourself a break. Being on the screen almost every day, will not just affect our physical health but also our mental health too. Being on the screen too much has unpleasant side effects. Have time for yourself. Go get enough sleep, do your hobby or make a new one, know what's your interest it might be cooking, gardening, pottery, and many more. I was also struggling during this pandemic, but I’ve been cooking and visiting my grandparents to give myself a break and have time to communicate with my family.
Talk to someone be it a friend, a family member, or just a complete stranger but be cautious! Talking to someone about what you are going through is something that we must do. This gives us a sense of security, there is someone besides us supporting us. This also makes you feel light-hearted that you don’t have to carry all these worries every day.
Remind you, we are going through a rough time but we must be tough too. We can get through this. Once you become tired just take a step back, take a deep breath and continue again. Don’t pressure yourself, go with the flow, and pat yourself on the back, you made this far!
